Join us in celebrating the Fall weather by canoeing on the Canal!

Located at the southern edge of campus, the D&R Canal is a perfect place for quick afternoon canoe trip.  You're almost guaranteed to happen upon dozens and dozens of sunning turtles, as well as other exciting riparian wildlife.

Thursday, October 12- Deadline to sign-up.

Sunday, October 15

Shift 1: meet outside Forbes at 1pm (will return by 3pm)

Shift 2: meet outside Forbes at 2pm (will return by 4pm)

Equipment

Dress for the weather (hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are strongly are strongly recommended) and bring a1L of water. Do not bring anything with you that you don't want in the canoe with you (leave your backpack at home!).

OA will provide all canoe equipment, including paddles and life jackets.

Cancellation Policy

Everyone should meet in front of Forbes at the appointed time to walk down to the canal together. If you do not meet us at Forbes, you will be considered a no-show ($5 cancellation fee) and your space will be given to someone on the waitlist.
