A Grab-bag of Summer Camp Activities!
Stationed at a summer camp facility in northern New Jersey, Outdoor Adventure trips offer the iconic OA small group experience without the full immersion into camping life. Groups spend the week at the Princeton Blairstown Center, sleeping in tents each night and having access to the camp's bathhouses.
Groups participate in a variety of activities, from day hikes in the neighboring Delaware Water Gap and service projects at local environmental centers, to traditional "summer camp" activities on the camp property. Most groups will spend 1-2 days challenging themselves on the Adventure Course, coming together as a team to solve problems and pushing one's own comfort level with high ropes elements, such as the Climbing Wall.
One of the perks of staying at Blairstown are the opportunities to interact with the other Outdoor Adventure groups staying nearby; through large group games out on the field and shared campfires, you'll meet with a couple dozen other Princeton students, which equates to even more familiar faces back on campus!
