With a view toward OA's upcoming 50th Anniversary, the Outdoor Action Alumni Advisory Group was convened in December 2016 to reflect on the value of Outdoor Action and discuss how the program can continue to provide leadership development opportunities for students. Understanding the traits and behaviors that make leaders effective is critical for any organization, and applies to students on campus and alumni in the world at large. Join us for a panel that brings together experts on leadership from academics, business, government, the non-profit sector and current Outdoor Action student leaders to explore what makes leaders effective and how to enhance your own foundations of effective leadership.

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, Outdoor Action and Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS) hosted Dr. Jud Brewer '96 MD PhD for a webinar exploring the physiology of anxiety and how we can 'unlearn' millions of years of evolution to be more mindful and less stressed.

Thursday Night Rocks! Free Late Night Climbing supported by the Alcohol Initiative 10:30pm- Midnight

No previous experience is required and OA provides the gear, music, snacks and fun! Limited to students with PU ID. 

Location: OA's Climbing Wall in the southeast corner of Football Stadium (second level). Thursday night climbing is funded by the Trustee Alcohol Initiative Fund promoting non-alcoholic social activities on campus.
