As graduation approaches, seniors enter a busy time finishing their experience at Princeton and preparing for their next adventure. Princeton graduates serve in countless leadership positions around the world from entrepreneurs to teachers, directors to parents. Understanding the traits and behaviors that make leaders effective is critical for any organization, and applies to students on campus and alumni in the world at large. Join us for a panel that brings together experts on leadership from academics, business, government, the non-profit sector and current Outdoor Action student leaders to explore what makes leaders effective and how to enhance your own foundations of effective leadership.
As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, Outdoor Action and Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS) hosted Dr. Jud Brewer '96 MD PhD for a webinar exploring the physiology of anxiety and how we can 'unlearn' millions of years of evolution to be more mindful and less stressed.
Students involved in Outdoor Action excel both in academics and in campus activities from varsity sports, to student government, and student organizations. The leadership skills they develop through Outdoor Action serve the larger Princeton campus and beyond as these students go on to be leaders throughout their careers. Here are some of the awards and prizes received by Outdoor Action Leaders.
