The leadership skills they develop through Outdoor Action serve the larger Princeton campus and beyond as these students go on to be leaders throughout their careers. Wintersession is a 2-week experience each January that brings together the entire campus community-- students, faculty, and staff. Throughout Wintersession, Outdoor Action will be offering a variety of different trips, activities, and trainings. Registration for all events will be on the Wintersession page of My.Princeton.edu November 1 through November 19.

The Banff Mountain Film Festival returns to Princeton University for its 21st year. Come join us for two fantastic evenings of award winning films on outdoor adventure from around the world. Tickets will be available in early February and the show always sells out, so buy your tickets early.

Thursday Night Rocks! Free Late Night Climbing supported by the Alcohol Initiative 10:30pm- Midnight

No previous experience is required and OA provides the gear, music, snacks and fun! Limited to students with PU ID. 

Location: OA's Climbing Wall in the southeast corner of Football Stadium (second level). Thursday night climbing is funded by the Trustee Alcohol Initiative Fund promoting non-alcoholic social activities on campus.

Technical Skills Trainers (TSTs) are key members of the leaders-in-training instructional team. They are OA Leaders who go through additional training to solidify their outdoor technical skill as well as develop skills necessary to be effective teachers. TSTs teach the LNT & Technical Skills course to students going through OA Leader Training.

Join us for a panel that brings together experts on leadership and Outdoor Action alumnae from academics, business, government, the non-profit sector and current OA student leaders to explore what makes leaders effective and how to enhance your own foundations of effective leadership.
