While many people think of OA as an outdoor program, its primary mission is developing student leaders. We celebrate OA's contribution to leadership with an annual panel at Reunions where alumni leaders from the program return to share how they continue to use the leadership skills they developed through OA. Join us for a panel that brings together experts on leadership from academics, business, government, the non-profit sector and current Outdoor Action student leaders to explore what makes leaders effective and how to enhance your own foundations of effective leadership.

This report was written on the twentieth anniversary of the Outdoor Action Program to identify the unique contributions Outdoor Action has made to Princeton University. OA Leader Training is a great way to meet FUN people while you easily complete the training and lead an OA Trip. We are looking for motivated students, graduate students and faculty or staff to become leaders for the Frosh Trip in September. Don’t consider yourself outdoorsy? Outdoor Action will teach you the skills you need to be competent in the outdoors. Our priorities are to find people who are excited about working with others and learning and teaching new skills, and who bring a diversity of experiences and backgrounds to the program.
