Outdoor Action offers a broad range of resources to the Princeton University community. We also provide information about our programs on leadership, outdoor education and building an outdoor program to users everywhere. In 2010 the Outdoor Action Program was moved into the Vice President for Campus Life Office after fourteen years of being administratively managed by the Princeton-Blairstown Center. This report was written to explore and envision how Outdoor Action could play a significant role on campus.

The 70-mile Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park is one of central New Jersey's most popular recreational corridors for canoeing, jogging, hiking, bicycling, fishing and horseback riding. The canal and the park are part of the National Recreation Trail System. This linear park is also a valuable wildlife corridor connecting fields and forests. The D&R Canal parallels Lake Carnegie and provides easy access from campus for walking, running, and biking both north and south.
