Understanding the History and Culture of the Lenape People

Reverend Dr. John R. Norwood - Founding Pastor of Ujima Village Christian Church, Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribal Councilman and Judge, and government liaison for the Confederation of Sovereign Nanticoke-Lenape Tribes - spoke with Outdoor Action student leaders on the tribal saga of New Jersey's Nanticoke and Lenape Indians. Rev. Norwood discussed tribal history and culture and current sovereignty, challenges, and misconceptions.

OA Strategic Planning Committee

With a view toward OA's upcoming 50th Anniversary, the Outdoor Action Alumni Advisory Group was convened in December 2016 to reflect on the value of Outdoor Action and discuss how the program can continue to provide leadership development opportunities for students.
