Outdoor Action is Princeton University's largest student leadership training program. Our core mission is to facilitate the development of leadership skills among Princeton University students through active leadership experiences.

A critical part of OA leader training is competence and confidence in dealing with emergency situations. The Wilderness First Aid and CPR instructors teach the core skills of patient care and assessment, and judgement and decision making for the field treatment of emergency situations.

CPR  Instructors

CPR Instructors teach the 3 hour American Heart Association CPR course to OA leaders and other members of the University community.  In order to become a CPR Instructor you must complete the CPR Instructor Course.

Join us in celebrating the Fall weather by canoeing on the Canal!

Located at the southern edge of campus, the D&R Canal is a perfect place for quick afternoon canoe trip.  You're almost guaranteed to happen upon dozens and dozens of sunning turtles, as well as other exciting riparian wildlife.
